Research interests: My main research is in the design of experiments. Much of this is motivated by collaboration with experimenters in various subjects, such as agriculture, ecology and clinical trials. However, the theory underpinning my research often comes from parts of pure mathematics such as algebra and combinatorics. |

Research interests: My mathematical interests are focused on linear algebra and its applications in statistical inference. The main fields include general linear models, experimental designs and econometrics. |

Research interests: Worked in linear algebra, in particular conjectured estimates for determinants and norms; and a certain conjecture on pencils of Hankel matrices. Other papers are on real inequalities and on an algebraic positivity certificate. Mathematics Olympiad problems and the minds of olympiad kids are a particular research interesrt of mine. |

Research interests: My research is mainly on statistical modelling for complex data, including correlated data, longitudinal data and survival data. In methodological research, I am interested in modelling of covariance matrix in particular for high-dimensional data, joint modelling of longitudinal data and survival data, and statistical diagnostics for various statistical models. In application research, I am interested in applying various statistical methods and models to model complex data arising in medicine, biology and economics. |
